Kenneth M. Hesser
Education, Honors, and Academic Achievements
Ken Hesser was born in Philadelphia, Pa., in 1975. He attended Penn State University where he received degrees in both Political Science and Media Studies in 1997. He then attended Wake Forest University School of Law in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he obtained a Juris Doctorate in 2000. Mr. Hesser spent his final year of law school in Gainesville studying at the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
Ken Hesser is a Florida Bar Board Certified attorney in the field of workers’ compensation, a distinction held by only 7% of practicing attorneys in the state. It is the Florida Bar’s “Legal Expert” status. Licensed since 2000, Mr. Hesser has been a partner with Schatt, Hesser, McGraw since its inception in 2011. While primarily now representing injured workers throughout the state, Mr. Hesser has previously represented insurance companies, which gives him a unique perspective on the complicated workers’ compensation system in Florida.
In addition, Mr. Hesser also represents numerous clients in Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies, employment disputes, and personal injury matters.
